Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated 2026-08-17

Curiotutor is billed a month at a time, with no lock in. This page explains exactly what happens when you cancel, and the cases where we refund a payment.

Cancelling

You can cancel from the subscription page in your account, at any time, without contacting us.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not end the month you have already paid for: your child keeps full access until that period ends, and their progress and reports stay available.

When we refund

We refund in these cases:

  • You were charged twice for the same month. We refund the duplicate in full, and you do not need to ask.
  • You were charged after cancelling. We refund in full.
  • A fault on our side prevented your child using a paid plan for a substantial part of the month, and we could not put it right. We refund that month in full or in part, depending on how much was lost.
  • You paid within the last 48 hours, have used less than 30 minutes of tutoring, and tell us it is not right for your child. We refund in full, no reason needed.

When we do not refund

  • Part way through a month you have used. The month is charged in advance and is not refunded pro rata when you cancel, which is why cancelling leaves your access running to the end of it.
  • Minutes bought as a top up, once they have been credited to your account. They do not expire, so they remain available for as long as your account is open.
  • An account we closed because it broke our Terms of Service.

If your circumstances are not covered here, write to us anyway. We would rather look at it than have you feel unfairly treated.

Free trial

The trial costs nothing and needs no payment details, so there is nothing to refund and nothing to cancel. It simply ends.

How to ask for a refund

Email support@quiksync.com from the address on your account, and include the payment reference from your receipt. Every receipt is available in your payment history and can be downloaded as a PDF.

We will reply within two working days. If a refund is due we raise it with Razorpay at that point.

How long a refund takes

Once we raise it, the money is returned to the card or account you paid from. Razorpay normally completes this in five to seven working days, though your bank may take longer to show it. We cannot make it faster, and we will not ask you to pay again while a refund is in progress.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, nothing is charged and your subscription simply does not renew. We will email you so that it does not lapse without your noticing. A payment that your bank shows as pending but which never completed is released by them automatically, usually within a few days.
