Terms of Service

Curiotutor is operated by QuikSync Technologies LLP, a LLP registered in India. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean QuikSync Technologies LLP, and "you" means the account holder.

By creating an account you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

Accounts are held by adults. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.

Children do not hold accounts. A parent or legal guardian creates a learner profile for each child and remains responsible for that profile, including the daily time limit and everything the child submits.

You confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of every child whose profile you create, and that you consent to us processing their information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Curiotutor provides a conversational AI tutor for school students, together with practice questions, progress tracking and reports for parents. Sessions are spoken, and a child may show written work to the tutor using the device camera.

We may change, add or remove features. If a change materially reduces what you have paid for, we will tell you before it takes effect.

The tutor is an artificial intelligence. It can be wrong, and sometimes it will be wrong confidently. Treat what it says as a study aid, not as a verified answer, and check anything that matters.

Curiotutor does not replace a school, a teacher, or a qualified professional. It is not a diagnostic tool. Nothing it produces is educational, medical, psychological or legal advice, and it must not be relied on as such. It has no ability to identify a learning difficulty or a health condition, and any observation it makes about a child is a description of one conversation, not an assessment of the child.

If you are concerned about a child's learning or wellbeing, please speak to their school or to a qualified professional.

• Plans are billed monthly in Indian Rupees, in advance, for the month ahead.
• Each plan includes a set number of tutoring minutes per month. Included minutes do not carry over to the next month.
• Additional minutes may be bought separately. Bought minutes are used only after the included ones are exhausted, and they remain available until they are used.
• A parent may set a daily limit per child. That limit applies in addition to the monthly allowance.
• Payment is collected by Razorpay. We do not receive or store your card details.
• Prices may change. An increase will not apply to a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before your next renewal.

Each month is charged when you pay for it. Nothing is collected automatically from your card without you completing a payment.

New accounts receive a limited free trial. The trial includes a fixed number of minutes and ends when those minutes are used or the trial period expires, whichever comes first. No payment details are needed for the trial, and it does not convert into a paid plan on its own.

You may cancel at any time from the subscription page. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are covered in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

You agree not to:

• share your account with anyone outside your household, or use one plan for children who are not yours
• upload anything unlawful, or any image containing another person who has not agreed to it
• attempt to extract the underlying model, prompts or system instructions
• use the service to produce work that will be presented as a child's own where that is against their school's rules
• interfere with the service, probe it for weaknesses, or automate access to it

Uploaded images are checked automatically before the tutor sees them, and we may refuse or remove content. We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, and will tell you why unless we are prevented from doing so.

Work your child uploads, and the transcripts of their sessions, belong to you. We use them to run the service: to let the tutor respond, to build progress and reports, and to keep the service safe.

We do not sell your content, and we do not use a child's content to advertise to them. Where we use content to improve the service, it is aggregated so that no child is identifiable.

We aim to keep Curiotutor available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted. Maintenance, a failure at a provider we depend on, or an outage outside our control may interrupt it. If a fault on our side stops you using a paid plan for an extended period, contact us and we will put it right.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Subject to that, our total liability to you in any twelve month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for examination results, or for decisions taken in reliance on anything the tutor said.

You may close your account at any time from your account settings. Closing it stops future billing and begins deletion of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is used fraudulently, or where we are required to by law.

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here, with its date at the top. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you by email before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new version.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Pune have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
